Deere seems to understand the wants and needs of young urban women and her product line, Lime Crime, has found a niche market with them. Deere has a way of promoting her company and herself by the use of her charming nature. She is never photographed, pictured or recorded with anything but a sweet smile on her face. She has claimed that she is very lucky to be expressing her art and being able to make a lot of money from it. She is in a word, a phenom.

She is a competent business woman whose ideas and concepts are propelling both her and Lime Crime into the spotlight of business products and transforming this Russian transplant and Americanizing her completely while making her into a brand.
