Dr. Saad Saad is well known for the definite differences that he has made in the lives of his patients. He spent most of his career in Eatontown, New Jersey. He is well loved by his patients. In the year of 2014 he won the Compassionate Doctor Recognition for having superb bedside etiquette. He also won the Patient’s choice award that same year. The award shows Dr. Saad as well as future patients that he is one of the most highly ranked pediatric surgeons among patients that he has served. Dr. Saad has made many contributions to enhancing the experiences of his patients. From performing surgical procedures on children for free to creating devices that give doctors the capability to be more efficient during surgery.

Dr. Saad created these devices out of necessity to make surgical procedures safer and more effective. Not to mention, it lowers the time it takes to perform the procedure. Dr. Saad’s first invention is the Catheter with Integral Electromagnetic Location Identification Device. The design has wires inside that send electronic signals to the external scanning device. Surgeons scan the exterior of the patient’s body. Once the scanner is in alignment with the catheter, a light will illuminate. Looking at how traditional catheters are located is baffling. Ordinary catheters are located with an X-ray. If there is a need for more than one, the patient is at risk of being subjected to high levels of radiation. Dr. Saad’s design removes the need for X-ray use. The device is an excellent addition to the medical world.

Dr. Saad then began to note the complications that a foggy endoscope can cause. First, it interferes the with the surgeon’s ability to see clearly. Secondly, it prolongs the procedure as when they have to remove the endoscope during the operation. The endoscope is removed so that it can be cleaned. Once it’s cleaned, it is then reinserted so that the procedure can continue. To solve the problem, Dr. Saad created the Methods and Apparatus for Providing Suction and/or Irrigation in a Rigid Endoscope While Maintaining Visual Contact with a Target Area through the Endoscope. The endoscope is an extreme upgrade to the traditional one. When the body begins to create fluid, and the endoscope becomes hazy, the surgeon can spray clear liquid to clean the device. Then it uses an anti-fog port to suction out the fluid to give surgeons an unobstructed view. The device has been used by Dr. Saad as well as many other doctors with great success. In fact, Dr. Saad has used it thousands of times to perform endoscopies. Another great thing about the endoscope is that it is cheap to produce. Due to its cost-effectiveness, it is used by many doctors today. Learn more: https://www.facebook.com/drsaadsaad12
